Dear Member of Nottinghamshire Scouts

It is truly a very sad moment. The passing of our beloved Monarch and Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, will touch all of us, including our young people, greatly.

Clearly, our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family at this difficult time. But we should also look out for those around us, of all ages who perhaps need support and comfort – it’s ok, not to be ok.

Whilst we are all coming to terms with our Queen’s death and recognising the sombre mood of the Country, I would also encourage us all to celebrate her amazing life and service. There is so much to be grateful for and happy memories to remember.

I know that we all stand together at this difficult time and that this is a source of strength for us all.

Steven
